Bindings care about interfaces, tolerances, and nothing else. On the Shift 2, the boot has to match the binding’s standards, or the setup stops being trustworthy.

What the Shift 2 accepts

The Shift2 is a multionorm binding. It works with alpine, touring, GripWalk, and WTR soles, and touring use still requires tech fittings in the toe.[1][2][8]
